Automall Helps Supply Students
August 15, 2008
- Valley
Automall and KVVU FOX 5 are once again teaming-up
for this year’s “Supply Our Students”
campaign. The joint effort helps the Salvation Army
supply thousands of children throughout the Las
Vegas Valley with back-to-school basics needed to
start the new school year. The effort has been on
going for several weeks; today is the final day.
People can drop-off backpacks and notebooks, pens
and pencils, lunch boxes and calculators all day
long at any of the Valley Automall’s 16 dealerships
in Henderson. Anything that would aid a child’s
education is being accepted. Stop by in the morning
and meet FOX 5’s television personality Monica
Jackson or swing by in the afternoon and greet Darren
Peck.
“Valley Automall encourages everyone in the
community to help support our children as they start
another school year. The supplies provided help
bring a smile to their faces,” said Valorie
Staley, manager of Valley Automall. “While
you’re here, stop by any of our six cafés
or our 1950’s-style diner, Mustang Sally’s,
and grab a warm cup of coffee or something to eat.”
